Relax in our cozy vacation cottage in the Odenwald—the perfect place to unwind in nature. Electricity generated by our rooftop solar panels, cozy warmth from our wood-burning stove, a basement for bikes, and a patio with a charcoal grill and fire pit make our cottage truly special. Allemühl is idyllically situated in the valley. Eberbach and Heidelberg are just a short drive away. It’s the perfect starting point for hiking on the Neckarsteig and trail biking in the Eberbach Bike Country. The Sinsheim Thermal Baths & Water Park is also nearby. Allemühl Vacation Cottage—a house all to yourselves! You’ll have the cottage all to yourselves—ideal for a peaceful getaway in nature. It features a living-dining area with a kitchenette and a sleeper sofa for 1–2 people (approx. 1.20 × 1.95 m). In addition to a cozy stove (wood included), you’ll also find a flat-screen TV there. Of course, there’s fast Wi-Fi—also suitable for working. The bedroom features a double bed and another flat-screen TV. Bed linens and towels are, of course, included. The bathroom is equipped with a rain shower. Outside, you can use a Weber charcoal grill and a fire pit. We’re happy to provide charcoal and firewood. The basement has space for your bikes and plenty of outlets for charging e-bike batteries. There you’ll find beverages—including chilled ones—and a washing machine. Allemühl is quietly situated in a valley in the small Odenwald region and is surrounded by nature. Hiking trails begin near the cottage, including the well-known Neckarsteig. Mountain bikers will find varied trails in the Bikeländ Eberbach region, and the Neckar Valley Bike Path is also beautiful. The charming old towns of Eberbach, Bad Wimpfen, and Heidelberg are all within easy reach. The Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim is also a popular nearby destination. It’s ideal for a long weekend in the Odenwald—many guests stay 3–4 nights to combine hiking, biking, and mountain biking at Bikeländ Eberbach with a visit to Heidelberg and a day of relaxation at the Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim. Due to the building’s original construction, some doorways are lower than is standard today. Note for families with small children: Babies and toddlers are very welcome. However, no baby or toddler equipment (e.g., crib, changing table) is provided. You must bring any necessary equipment with you. Additionally, the staircase does not have a safety gate for toddlers. Enjoying the outdoors: The terrace and the view of the surrounding greenery are perfect for breakfast, relaxing, or a cozy barbecue evening. Hydrangeas, lavender, and flower boxes enhance the cozy, rural atmosphere. Nature & Attractions: Halenbach is located in the Southern Eifel, surrounded by forests, rolling hills, and numerous hiking and biking trails. Belgium and Luxembourg are also nearby and make wonderful destinations for a day trip. This makes the Eifel Refugium an ideal starting point for discovering the Eifel and the Three-Country Corner—and at the same time, a place where you can simply do nothing. 🌿
