Rates checked in September 2026. Under its single-fee structure, Airbnb charges most hosts 15.5%; Airbnb says other hosts typically pay between 14% and 16%. Exceptions depend on country and account type. Booking.com sets the commission rate in each accommodation agreement, and visibility programmes may increase it. This worked example uses a possible range of 15% to 25%. If Booking.com facilitates payment, the applicable payment terms and transaction cost are contract-specific. Our 6.9% cost contribution is included in the displayed total and contributes towards Stripe payment fees and refunds. Nothing is added at checkout and nothing is deducted from the owner. Fee models can change, so please check each platform’s current terms. Sources: Airbnb Help Center and Booking.com General Delivery Terms.

Popular places to stay in Turks and Caicos

Turks and Caicos is a British Overseas Territory of low, sun-bleached islands and cays scattered at the southeastern edge of the Bahamas chain. What draws most visitors is the water: broad, shallow flats in extraordinary shades of turquoise, long stretches of soft white sand, and a barrier reef that makes the islands a favourite for diving and snorkelling. The main gateway is Providenciales, usually shortened to Provo, home to the famous Grace Bay beach and most of the territory's hotels, restaurants and services. Beyond Provo, the pace slows quickly. Quieter cays and islands, some barely inhabited, offer empty beaches, boating and a real sense of getting away from it all, while the capital sits on the smaller island of Grand Turk. The reefs and drop-offs are a central attraction, with wall diving, snorkelling and, in season, marine wildlife offshore. This is a place built around the sea rather than nightlife or dramatic landscapes; the islands are flat and dry, and the appeal is the colour of the water and the quality of the sand. Most travellers fly into Providenciales and reach the outer islands by domestic flight or boat.

Vacation rentals in Turks and Caicos: FAQ

Book vacation apartments and holiday homes safely with BookNoFees ↗
How do I get to Turks and Caicos?

Most visitors fly into Providenciales, the main island, which handles international arrivals. From there, the outer islands and cays are reached by short domestic flights or by boat. If you are staying beyond Provo, plan the onward leg in advance, and ask your host how they recommend getting to your specific island or cay.

When is the best time to visit?

The islands are warm and dry for much of the year, with a hotter, wetter season that overlaps the wider Atlantic hurricane season. Many travellers prefer the cooler, drier months for settled beach weather, though the water is inviting year-round. Check current conditions for your dates, and your host can advise on what to expect around your trip.

Where should I base myself?

Providenciales, especially around Grace Bay, has the most beaches, restaurants and services and suits first-time visitors. Grand Turk and the quieter cays like Salt Cay or North and Middle Caicos are far more low-key, better for travellers wanting solitude.

Is it good for diving and snorkelling?

Yes. The territory is well known for its reefs, walls and clear water, with diving and snorkelling among the main reasons people come. There are operators for all levels, and plenty of easy snorkelling from the beach. Confirm with your host or a local dive shop which sites and seasons best match your experience and interests.

Why book my Turks and Caicos stay through BookNoFees?

BookNoFees deducts no commission from the amount set by the host. The displayed total includes a 6.9% guest fee on the host price, covering payment processing, refund handling and payment risks. Nothing is added at checkout.

Can I coordinate boats and island-hopping with the host?

Yes. You can message the host through BookNoFees before booking to ask about the property, arrival and local details. If the booking is accepted, payment is completed securely through the BookNoFees checkout and Stripe.
