't Wapen van Norg

't Wapen van Norg stands on the Brink, the village green at the heart of Norg. The restaurant has carried its present name since 18 March 1957, giving it a long connection with this central meeting place. Its offer stretches from coffee and homemade cake to lunch, drinks and a full dinner. That range makes it an option for a short refreshment stop as well as a meal planned around a visit to the village.

The kitchen provides separate lunch and dinner menus, while children have a menu of their own. Homemade baking is part of the offer in its own right, so a visit need not involve ordering a complete meal. Guests can also come for a borrel, the Dutch custom of gathering over drinks. The restaurant presents these different occasions together, with food and conversation at the centre of the experience.

For dinner, the team recommends reserving a table by telephone. Larger parties are also welcome, but the restaurant asks them to book early. Groups of ten people or more use a dedicated group menu rather than the ordinary individual menu. Anyone wanting an adapted menu can contact the team to discuss the possibilities beforehand. This gives families, friends travelling together and other organised parties a clear way to arrange their meal. The location on the Brink places the restaurant directly in Norg's village centre, with its address forming a straightforward meeting point for guests arriving separately.
